Medical Non-Emergency
If immediate emergency medical attention is NOT needed but medical attention is desired, please apply the following:
Bleeding
• Locate and utilize medical gloves
and any other necessary PPE
• Control all bleeding and attempt
to contain all blood to one area or a sink
Head Injury
• Locate and utilize medical gloves
and any other necessary PPE
• Check consciousness of patient. If patient has lost consciousness, then this is now an EMERGENCY
and should be treated as
such, please see procedures for Medical Emergency
• If patient remained conscious, have them sit and apply ice or a cold pack to the area
• AT NO TIME ARE YOU TO
LEAVE PATIENT FOR AT
LEAST ONE (1) HOUR
All Other Injuries
• Locate and utilize medical gloves and any other necessary PPE
• Treat all injuries according to the injured person’s discretion. Do not force medical intervention if the patient is of sound mind to
make decisions. If the patient is not able to clearly make
decisions, then the issue needs to be escalated to a Medical Emergency
